di bawah ini gue share bermacam2 contoh text explanation . silakan di lahap bray !

Explanation text : Volcano Eruption

Do you know what a volcano is? I guess you all know volcano is a mountain with magma inside it. Most volcanoes are formed on land, but there are some volcanoes that are on the ocean floor. You know the famous volcanoes in Indonesia, right? Yes, there are Mount Merapi and Mount Krakatau. Mount Merapi was erupt in October 2010 and Mount Krakatau was erupt in 1883. The eruptions are really massive and destructive. Do you want to know how is the volcano erupting? Well, let me explain to you.

At first, the eruption begins when pressure on a magma chamber inside the volcano forces magma up through the conduit and out the volcano's vents.   Then, when the magma chamber has been completely filled, the pressure is getting higher. Finally, the magma reaches up to the surface. When magma reaches earth's surface it is called lava.  It may pour out in gentle streams called lava flows or erupt violently into the air.  Rocks ripped loose from the inside of the volcano or torn apart by the gas. may be shot into the air with the lava. The lava destroys everything in its path because it is very hot.  The big rocks can destroy anything because the sizes are super big. The thick black smoke can burn everything slowly and it’s suffocating.

There’s no doubt that volcano eruption is really dangerous. Many people were dead because of it. A big number of people had to abandon their homes and land forever.  Even the whole world's climate was changed for a while as a result of an eruption. But volcano eruptions bring good effects too, because after a long time it can make the land fertile.

How Rainbow is Formed

Rainbow is one of  optic phenomena that happens in the atmosphere of the earth naturally. We can see it at mountin range, or  when it is cloudy, or  when it is raining and rising of sun. We have to be the other side for looking.  We  just can see it a half of circle form, but acctually the rainbow is a circle form. We can see it perfectly, if it is seen by standing in the high place. It is real that rainbow is a circle form not like parabola form. On the ground, we can not see perfectly, except if we are in the high place like in the air plane or standing on top of  moutain. When we are looking at rainbow’s colors, we will see them that ordered of red is on the highest order,  and purple is on  the lowest order.
Red is more dominant than another color caused by having biggest wave between others. Therefore the red one is in the highest order  and purple one is in lowest order. How rainbow is formed?  Try to watch it when light of sun concerns a 90-degree angle mirror or a glass prism side, or surface of  soap foam. We can see colors on the light. The light is rayyed to be some  wave lenght of light that it is seen by our eyes as red, bright red, yellow, green, blue and purple. These colors are compnents of light that they are called visible light. The other component is invisible light such as infrared (red is in the right side), and ultraviolet (bright red is in the left side).
So, we can see the beautiful rainbow because there are some processes to be beautiful rainbow that it appears in the sky.

How does Rain Happen?

Rain is the primary source of fresh water for most areas of the world, providing suitable conditions for diverse ecosystems, as well as water for hydroelectric power plants and crop irrigation.

The phenomenon of rain is actually a water circle. The concept of the water cycle involves the sun heating the Earth's surface water and causing the surface water to evaporate. The water vapor rises into the Earth's atmosphere. The water in the atmosphere cools and condenses into liquid droplets. The droplets grow until they are heavy and fall to the earth as precipitation which can be in the form of rain or snow.

However, not all rain reaches the surface. Some evaporates while falling through dry air. This is called virga, a phenomenon which is often seen in hot, dry desert regions.

How the Tornado Happens

Tornado is the most damaging storm. The word tornado come from Spanish “Tronada” that mean thunder storm. Also come from Latin language ”Tonare” which mean rumbling. According to the story, the word tornado was taken from combination between ronada and Tornar in Spanish. Tornado is air column which rotate very fast and form relation between cumulonimbus cloud. Usually tornado has wind velocity between 177 km/hours or more with reach average 75 meters and attack several kilometers before disappearing.
Several tornado which reach wind velocity more than 300-480 km/hours have wide more than one mile and can survive in the surface more than 100 km.

Tornado generally happens in the afternoon to evening. In America, tornado happens between 15.00-21.00. Although tornado has been research by the scientist, in every continent, most of tornado happens in America. In America, most of tornado happen in tornado alley in middle-west America. Other area which generally happen tornado are South Canada, South Africa, East and south Asia, Middle Europe, Italy, West Australia, New South Wales, and Indonesia. In Indonesia, usually happen in Sumatra and Java.

Tornado has some types. They are weak, strong and violence tornado. Weak tornado include 88% of all tornado. The wind velocity is less than 112 mph. Weak tornado happen about 1-10 minutes. Death because of this tornado are about 5% of the total death because of tornado. Strong tornado include 11% of all tornado. The wind velocity is between113-206 mph. This tornado happens in 20 minutes or more. The death because of strong tornado is about 30% of the total death because of tornado. Violent tornado is rarely happen. This include 1% of all tornado. The wind velocity is more than 205 mph or more. This tornado happens in one hours or more. Although rarely happen, this tornado can cause death about 70% of the total death because of tornado.

Before tornado happens, it has several signal. First, the sky seems dark. Then happen ice rain around the area, usually 20-25 minutes. After that, the situation will calm, but the sky become darker. Fourth, cloud moving around the area. Fifth, the sound of tornado heard. At the beginning, the sound like water fall, but in the process of time it will change until like jet plane which is very loud. A tornado usually move from southwest to north east.
The change of air layer is the cause of tornado. In this case, if the cold air layer is above the hot air layer, the hot air layer go up with velocity about 300 km/hour. The air which infiltrating from this side, cause wind rotate and form Tornado.

The process of tornado begin with storm followed by rain, thunder and lightning. When the temperature of the soil go up, the hot and moist air start to go up too. Then, when warm, the moist and cold air fill up the dry air. That upraised up, enter to the upper air layer. A thunderbolt cloud begin to form in this phase. The move of air go up is very fast. Wind from side cause the different direction and form a very very strong rotation.A cone, result of that air rotation start to form and seem from the cloud to soil surface so form Tornado.

Tsunami

The term of “tsunami” comes from the Japanese which means harbour ("tsu") and wave ("nami"). A tsunami is a series of waves generated when water in a lake or a sea is rapidly displaced on a massive scale.

A tsunami can be generated when the sea floor abruptly deforms and vertically displaces the overlying water. Such large vertical movements of the earth's crust can occur at plate boundaries.

Subduction of earthquakes are particularly effective in generating tsunami, and occur where denser oceanic plates slip under continental plates.

As the displaced water mass moves under the influence of gravity to regain its equilibrium, it radiates across the ocean like ripples on a pond.

Tsunami always bring great damage. Most of the damage is caused by the huge mass of water behind the initial wave front, as the height of the sea keeps rising fast and floods powerfully into the coastal area.

How Chocolate is Made

Have we wondered how we get chocolate from? Well this time we will enter the amazing world of chocolate so we can understand exactly we are eating.

Chocolate starts a tree called cacao tree. This tree grows in equatorial regions, especially in place such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia. The cacao tree produces a fruit about the size of a small pine apple. In side the fruits are the tree's seeds. They are also known as coco beans.

Next, the beans are fermented for about a week, dried in the sun. After that they are shipped to the chocolate maker. The chocolate maker starts by roasting the beans to bring out the flavour. Different beans from different places have different qualities and flavour. So they are often shorted and blended to produce a distinctive mix.

The next process is winnowing. The roasted beans are winnowed to remove the meat nib of the cacao bean from its shell. Then the nibs are blended. The blended nibs are ground to make it a liquid. The liquid is called chocolate liquor. It tastes bitter.

All seeds contain some amount of fat and cacao beans are not different. However, cacao beans are half fat, which is why the ground nibs from liquid. It is pure bitter chocolate.
How Earthquakes Happen

Earthquake is one of the most destroying natural disasters. Unluckily it often happens in several regions. Recently a horrible earthquake has shaken West Sumatra. It has brought great damages. Why did it occur? Do you know how an earthquake happens?

Earthquakes are usually caused when rock underground suddenly breaks along a fault. This sudden release of energy causes the seismic waves. It make the ground shake. When two blocks of rock or two plates are rubbing against each other, they stick a little. They don't just slide smoothly. The rocks are still pushing against each other, but not moving. After a while, the rocks break because of all the pressure that's built up. When the rocks break, the earthquake occurs.

During the earthquake and afterward, the plates or blocks of rock start moving, and they continue to move until they get stuck again. The spot underground where the rock breaks is called the focus of the earthquake. The place right above the focus is called the epicenter of the earthquake.

What is photosynthesis?

What is photosynthesis? Photosynthesis is a food-making process that occurs in green plants. It is the chief function of leaves. The word photosynthesis means putting together with light. Green plants use energy from light to combine carbon dioxide and water to make sugar and other chemical compounds.

How is the light used in photosynthesis?

The light used in photosynthesis is absorbed by a green pigment called chlorophyll. Each food-making cell in a plant leaf contains chlorophyll in small bodies called chloroplasts. In chloroplast, light energy causes water drawn form the soil to split into hydrogen and oxygen.

What are the steps of photosynthesis process? Let me tell you the process of photosynthesis, in a series of complicated steps, the hydrogen combines with carbon dioxide from the air, forming a simple sugar. Oxygen from the water molecules is given off in the process. From sugar together with nitrogen, sulphur, and phosporus from the soil-green plants can make starch, fat, protein, vitamins, and other complex compounds essential for life. Photosynthesis provides the chemical energy that is needed to produced these compounds.
